CREATIVE DIRECTOR / VIDEO DIRECTOR / PHOTOGRAPHER / CINEMATOGRAPHER
Marc Albert graduated with a bachelors degree in advertising at the Nimeto School of Arts in his native country of the Netherlands.
Following a brief career as assistant Art Director for Dutch advertising giant FHV/BBDO Marc traveled the world for years as a fashion model, working with major fashion icons like Yohji Yamamoto, Christian Dior, Gucci and Paul Smith before giving way to a long time passion: ‘Communicating through visuals’.
Since 2000, Marc has completed an array of high-profile assignments for Harpers Bazaar, Nike, American Eagle, Benetton/Sisley and Disney-Japan, and shot the A-list celebrities Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Avril Lavigne one-on-one.
Japanese A-list celebrities include: B`z (CD-jacket), Bonnie Pink, and Actor Sawamura Ikki.
Marc is progressively active as a film & video-director, most notably with a music-video for the legendary UK acid-jazz pioneers ‘Incognito’ for their critically acclaimed song “Hands Up” as well as Instagram-video-campaigns for American Eagle, Benetton/Sisley, Panasonic and the more “edgy” short fashion-films ‘Impact’, ‘Transit’ and ‘Lost’, produced by Radioactive Films.
International work experience, style, and a ‘high-energy’ job approach transform into a creative force for clients demanding broader (yet directional) ‘global vision’ ad-campaigns.
Marc is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.
